Many of you have expressed a desire to learn to weld, so Bob has developed this class just for you. In this class you will learn basic techniques for welding and cutting with oxyacetylene torches, as well as electric arc welding using MIG (wire feed) and stick welding methods. This class will include classroom time covering safe working practices and the differences between types of techniques and equipment. There will also be lab time where each student will have hands-on experience with the various types of equipment. Some basic metal working techniques will also be covered. No experience necessary, but students must have reasonably good vision and good hand eye coordination is a must. All required tools and materials are included, please wear fire retardant clothing such as denim shirts and pants, or other 100% cotton work wear.

To allow individual attention for each student, all classes will be limited to 6 students. Classes require a minimum of 3 students. Students must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise noted in class description. Payment must be made in full to reserve your place in class.
No refund can be given for cancellations made less than a week prior to the class. If the class needs to be canceled by the instructor or by Glass Obsessions for any reason, a full refund will be given.
